GDPR and Privacy
In order to provide coaching services Liz Hughes Cycle Coaching uses digital methods of data collection and storage relating to individuals that are prospective clients, current clients, former clients and visitors to the business website.
The following client details are stored and processed in order to provide services related to cycle coaching:
Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics.
Medical information and emergency contact details.
History of cycling experience and information on upcoming personal cycling events.
Photos and Videos.
GPS, Power, heart rate and other biometric information from cycling workouts.
Subjective information about cycling workouts.
Data is provided through various means:
By the client directly via forms and during meetings.
Workout/training data is collected through training peaks. Training peaks collects this data via the clients own training devices and associated software.
Event results, data, photos and videos collected from organisers published data.
Photos and videos taken during in person coaching sessions.
Liz Hughes Cycle Coaching uses the following digital platforms to store and process data. All data (unless otherwise specified) will be kept for a maximum of one year after any coaching agreement is ended.
Training peaks for collecting client training data and to share training plans with the client. All data stored within training peaks is secure and accessible via the athletes own login and Elizabeth Hughes coaching login which is not shared with any other parties. All data in training peaks is under the clients control and when the coaching contract is ended and the clients account disconnected from the coaching account no data remains in the coaching account.
Notion is used for collecting and storing athlete data including personal details, Access is password protected and nor shared with any other parties.
Google Meet is used for video meetings, email and client names are stored within related calendar entries and is password protected.
Google Drive is used for storage of files containing personal information, photos and videos. Access is password protected and not shared with any other parties. Photos and videos will be held indefinitely and have no other identifying information attached to them. Consent for this can be withdrawn at any time and a request for deletion made to Elizabeth Hughes.
Supernormal for transcribing meeting notes. Meetings are not recorded, client personal details may be stored within meeting notes which are password protected and not shared with any other parties.
Client testimonials, images and names may be shared on the Liz Hughes Cycle Coaching website to promote coaching services. Prior consent will be sought and no personal details other than those mentioned will be used. Consent for such use can be removed at any time and requests for deletion can be made to Elizabeth Hughes.
Liz Hughes Cycle Coaching utilizes analytics tools to assess website traffic. This helps to understand visitor needs and enhance their site experience. They gather both anonymous aggregate statistics and individual user activity data.
Client achievements or training may be shared on Instagram under the account “bikepixi”. Prior consent will be sought and no personal details other than first name, handle and race details will be shared on this account. Consent for posts can be removed at any time and requests for deletion can be made to Elizabeth Hughes.
